2010 Senior North & South Amateur Championships

Championship Information

ENTRY PROCESS
All entries, including returned invitations, must be received by the Tournament Office staff by the entry deadline of 5:00 PM Eastern Daylight Time on Friday, July 9, 2010.  Entry fees must accompany submitted applications.  ABSOLUTELY NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.

FORMAT
Three rounds of stroke play, one on each course (Pinehurst No. 2, No. 5, and No. 8), will determine the Champion in each division

CHAMPIONSHIP REGISTRATION
Championship registration will take place on Monday, August 23, from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM. Registration will be located in the St. Andrews Room of the Resort Club. Each contestant MUST register in person. Please make every attempt to register prior to playing practice rounds.

*Failure to register without notification to the tournament office will result in disqualification from the Championship.*

PRACTICE ROUNDS AND RANGE USAGE
The official practice round for the Championship is Monday, August 23, on Pinehurst No. 2, no. 5, and No. 8.  For practice round starting times, please contact the Pinehurst Starting Tower at 910-295-3186 or 1-800-795-4653 (choose option 6) on or after Wednesday, after 10:00 AM.  Indicate you are a North & South contestant.  A limited number of additional practice times will be available on the afternoon of Sunday, August 22, and can be booked at the same time as official practice rounds.  Practice rounds are for contestants only.  Practice balls will be complimentary prior to and following practice rounds and Championship rounds beginning Sunday, August 22, 2010.

CONTESTANT DINNER
The players dinner is on Monday, August 23, at 7:00 PM in the Main Dining Room of the Pinehurst Member's Club.  ALL PLAYERS ARE EXPECTED TO ATTEND.  Guest are welcome, and may purchase guest tickets at player registration.  Please do not send money in advance for guest tickets. Business attire (coat, no tie) is requested for men, with corresponding attire requested for women.

CLUB STORAGE
Please attach the North & South bag tag to your bag for identification purposes.  Club storage is complimentary.
