The Pinehurst Eclipse Experience

August 21, 2017

Join us to view the highly anticipated total solar eclipse on August 21 at The Pinehurst Eclipse Experience. The resort will host a fun and educational event designed for kids of all ages at The Carolina Hotel West Lawn and Pool. We’ll provide specialized solar eclipse glasses, host an interactive eclipse seminar and enjoy making Solar S’mores from a solar oven. There will also be swimming and other activities.

Learn how to make everyone’s favorite summer dessert with a solar oven and to make one at home, all while enjoying a sweet treat.

Contestants will face off in several different competition rounds to eat a slice of watermelon all the way down to the rind in the least amount of time.
