Entry Process
All entries, including returned invitations, must be received by the entry deadline of 5:00p.m. EDT on Friday, May 16, 2008.  For those applying for entry into the Championship Rounds or the Local Qualifying Rounds, the appropriate application must be completely executed and submitted by mail prior to the deadline.  Submitted applications must be accompanied by entry fee.  Local Qualifying is available to BOYS that are North and South Carolina residents ONLY. 

Local Qualifying
Local qualifying will be held on Pinehurst No. 4, June 8th and June 12th.  Juniors need only attend one qualifying date.  Local qualifying is required for North and South Carolina residents that are otherwise not exempt to compete (boys only).  For detailed exemption criteria, please click HERE.  For those applying for Local Qualilfying, please submit only the Local Qualifying Application.  Contestants advancing through qualifying will be invited to compete in the Championship Proper Rounds.  

Format
54-holes of stroke play will determine the Champion.  Play will be divided into two divisions (boy's and girl's) and held on Pinehurst No.2, No.5, and No. 8.

Championship Registration
Contestants invited to participate in the Championship must register on Monday, June 23 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Championship Registration Desk located in the Main Clubhouse.  All contestants must register in person.  Registration by phone will not be accepted.  Please make every effort to register prior to playing practice rounds.  Failure to register will result in disqualification from the Championship.

Practice Rounds and Range Usage
The official practice round for the Championship is Monday, June 23.  For practice round starting times, please contact the Pinehurst Starting Tower at 1-800-795-4653, option 6 on or after Wednesday, June 18 after 10:00 a.m.  Indicate you are a North & South contestant.  Contestants may make one time on either Course No. 5 or No. 8 at that time.  Practice rounds are for contestants only.  A limited number of additional practice round times will be available on each course, late afternoon, on Sunday, June 22.  Advance starting times will not be accepted for this additional practice.  Times are available on a first come, first serve basis.   

Contestant Dinner
There will be a North & South Contestant Dinner held in the Donald Ross Grill on Tuesday, June 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  Guests are welcome and you may purchase guest tickets at contestant registration for $30.00. Please do not send money for guest tickets in advance.

Club Storage
Club storage is complimentary, please attach North & South bag tag to your bag for identification purposes.
