Eligibility
Entries are open to male and female golfers who are between the ages of 15 and 17.  Contestants must not have reached their 18th birthday by June 24, 2008.

Conditions
Field: The field for the 30th North & South Junior Championship will consist of approximately 130 juniors ages 15-17, competing in 54-holes of stroke play.  One round each will be played on Pinehurst No. 2, No. 5, and No. 8.  Play will be in boys and girls divisions.  The boy's field will consist of approximately 90 players and the girl's field will be approximately 40 players. 

Rules for Play: The Championship Rounds shall be played in accordance with the USGA Rules of Golf and the Local Rules as defined by the North & South Championship Committee.  Unbecoming conduct by a player may result in disqualification.  

Carts/Caddies: Players are required to walk.  Carts and Caddies are not permitted during Championship Rounds.  Spectator carts are prohibited.

Dress Code: Pinehurst Resort and the North & South Championship Committee require collared shirts be worn at all times during the Championship, including practice rounds, qualifying rounds and during match play. Shorts are permissible for both contestant and caddie but must be Bermuda length. Business attire (coat, no tie) is requested for the Contestant Dinner.

Acceptance
All completely executed applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. EDT Friday, May 16, 2008. No entries will be accepted incomplete or after the deadline. The final field will determined and confirmations and regrets will be sent to applicants via U.S. Mail. Submission of application does not in itself mean acceptance. During the application process, applications received will be posted on the Championship website. Names posted at this location designate only applications received and do not guarantee acceptance.  Those applications not accepted will be sent rejection letters.  Application fee wll be returned by seperate mail.  Please make checks out to Pinehurst, LLC.  Full refunds will be be made prior to the close of entries.  Cancellations made after the closing date will be refunded less a $30 processing fee.  Entries are subject to rejection at any time, including during the Championship.  The reason for rejection may include unbecoming conduct by contestants or parent/guardian.
