SPA AT PINEHURST CELEBRATES BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH WITH FREE SPA THERAPIES FOR SURVIVORS

All survivors receive one free treatment on October 3, “Breast Friends” receive 50% discount

VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, N.C. (September 13, 2011) – The Spa at Pinehurst will celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month on Monday, Oct. 3 with a series of events and activities, including a free spa therapy for all breast cancer survivors and a 50-percent discount on therapies for their “Breast Friends.”

The day of pampering, awareness, camaraderie and celebration of life, will include:

• One complimentary 30- or 50-minute spa therapy or service to all survivors plus complete access to all tranquility areas, indoor pool, steam, sauna and whirlpools
• 50-percent discount on one 30- or 50-minute spa therapy or service for a survivor’s “Breast Friend”
• 20-percent discount on all items in The Spa Boutique
• Complimentary screenings and workshops
• Complimentary “Locks of Love” cuts at the Spa Salon
• Complimentary mineral makeup dustings by La Bella Donna Minerals of New York
• Door prizes and goodie bags
• Special entertainment with live music by “Sweet T” and cancer survivor Rebecca Lapping
• Evening Pink Balloon release on the Spa lawn

Additionally, The Spa at Pinehurst will be accepting donations throughout October with 100-percent of funds going to the Y-Me National Breast Cancer Organization. A portion of all therapies sold at The Spa during October also will be donated.
