2017 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship

From May 24-31, Pinehurst Resort and Country Club will proudly serve for the ninth time as the site of a United States Golf Association championship, the 2017 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball.

Widely known as the Cradle of American golf, Pinehurst has served as host to more single golf championships that any other site in America, with events including the U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup Matches, PGA Tour’s TOUR Championship, U.S. Women’s Open and many others. Its most revered golf course, Pinehurst No. 2, is considered one of the game’s architectural masterpieces and was recently restored to Donald Ross’ original vision.

In the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, 128 two-player sides will compete over two rounds of stroke play on Pinehurst No. 2 and Pinehurst No. 4. From those 128 sides, the field will be cut to 32 teams for match play on Pinehurst No. 2, from which the eventual champions will be determined.
