Treat your group to one of the newest and coolest trends on the links – Night-Light Golf. Our team of Pinehurst golf professionals will create a fun evening event for attendees of all abilities.
Pinehurst has a storied history with outdoor sports, but today we take it up a notch with the legendary King Fisher Society.
Treat your guests to an array of outdoor field sports at one of the area’s finest private sporting retreats. Just 45 minutes from Pinehurst, this 2,000-acre nature preserve features a 120-acre lake stocked with Bluegill and Bass, world-class sporting clays facilities, falconry and archery, along with instruction. If you like, we can also add orienteering, pontoon boat rides, kayaking or even quail hunting to your experience.
As with most of our group activities, they can be modified for what works best for your team. Here are a couple of options that incorporate Pinehurst’s great history with the rush of competition.
The Amazing Pinehurst Race: Get to know the area by taking part in a number of mental and physical challenges. Teams can take advantage of our shuttle service or use a bike to get to each location. Those feeling adventurous may even race through the Village on foot.
Photo Frenzy: Instagram addicts will love this scavenger hunt. Clues will lead participants to a variety of locations throughout the Village. Upon arrivals, you’ll snap a picture of your entire team before moving on to the next clue.

Want to give your team the edge on the golf course? The instructors at our Golf Academy offer lessons, clinics and corporate golf schools. Our specialized programs can be customized for individuals or groups. On-course instruction can be included for an additional fee. The staff can also video golfers’ swings or create group-specific skills challenges to identify problem areas or highlight participants’ progress.

Here are a few activities that might surprise you and your team.
Get active! Soar through the forest on eight different zip line cables. A highlight is a stop at a beautiful waterfall. Two or more trained guides accompany each group as they explore some of North Carolina’s most scenic wilderness areas. The experience includes 15 unique tree platforms, 3 canopy sky bridges and 3 spiral staircases.
For a professional tournament experience, take your golf outing to a new level with custom packages created using our Golf Genius software to include any of the following add-ons:

If your team has a competitive streak, this is the activity for them. Our version of the triathlon includes activities at our golf facilities, tennis club and lawn sports greens. Each of the areas will test a variety of unique skills. Add a cash bar to your triathlon to celebrate along the way or at the finish line.
North Carolina is well known for its pottery, and your guests have the opportunity to work with them. Your guests will participate in a hands-on class with Seagrove Potter Bobbie Thomas. Groups will also visit three pottery locations to learn about the potters and of course, shop! The pieces you guests create will be shipped directly to them once they have been glazed and fired. Lunch is included at a local restaurant.
