5 can’t miss Pinehurst Easter activities

Easter weekend in Pinehurst gets underway exactly one month from today.

Start planning your trip by browsing our full list of Easter activities.

We’ve pinpointed a few of our favorites below.

Kids can enjoy special activities during the holidays.

1. Easter Egg hunts

Kick off Easter weekend with a unique twist on a classic pastime – a flashlight Easter egg hunt.

We’ll provide the Easter bags and flashlights, all you need to do is bring your children down to the Grand Ballroom by 5 p.m. Friday, April 3.

The fun continues Easter Sunday with two egg hunts on the West Lawn – one for children ages 5 and younger, another for children ages 6 to 12. Both egg hunts will get underway at 10 a.m.

2.  Family Fun on the West Lawn

Join us on the West Lawn for two hours of nonstop fun starting at noon Saturday, April 4.

We’ll have a climbing wall on site for children who are feeling adventurous. Younger kids can enjoy two bounce houses.

Children can also take part in lawn games or test their skills in a video game trailer.

During the event, we’ll offer face painting and provide light refreshments.

Keep an eye out for the guest of honor, the Easter Bunny.

NOTE: This event is open to Resort guests and members. Members must register in advance through Member Services.

3. Movie Matinee

Need a break after Family Fun on the West Lawn? We understand.

Kick back and watch “Big Hero 6” starting at 3 p.m. in the South Room.

The movie is rated G, so it’s appropriate for children of all ages. We’ll provide popcorn and lemonade.

4. Bunny Bingo

Start your Saturday off with a little Bunny Bingo at 9:30 a.m. in the Dogwood Room.

We’ve taken a classic game and added a festive twist. Kids will receive fun prizes.

5. Gimme S’more Stories

Saturday will wind down with stories told around the fireplace at the Carolina Hotel pool.

Children can roast marshmallows and snack on s’mores while Ms. Rita tells an Easter story.

Stop by at 7 p.m. to take part in this Pinehurst tradition.
