During our first Girl’s Spa Weekend of the year, we welcomed 77 women to Pinehurst for a weekend of pampering.
After checking in Friday afternoon, they enjoyed an interactive floral design workshop featuring spring blooms. Tim of Aldena Frye Custom Floral Design led the lively class and encouraged the women to take home their creations.
Next, they eased into the weekend by enjoying wine, artisan cheeses and fresh seasonal fruit during a welcome reception at The Spa at Pinehurst. A representative from the FarmHouse Fresh skin care line was on hand to demonstrate some of their most popular products.
Saturday morning kicked off with a relaxing yoga class. Afterward, the women headed to The Spa to slip into a cozy robe and await their spa treatments, which included a choice of massage, facial or body treatment.
Chef Morgan Wesley showed off his culinary skills with a vegan cooking demonstration Saturday afternoon. Recipes included Edamame Hummus, a Local Greens, Quinoa, Avocado, Grapefruit and Radish Salad, Tofu Green Goddess Dressing and a Chia Pudding with Seasonal Berries and Flaxseed Granola. Healthy and oh-so-tasty.
The weekend wrapped up with another great yoga class Sunday morning, leaving the women relaxed and rejuvenated as they returned home.
