It takes our team hours to get a space ready to host an event, but you can witness the magic in 1 minute. Watch the timelapse video above to see them set up tables, create floral arrangements and more in The Holly Inn’s Evergreen Music Room.
Catering Director Michele Soderquist said the décor for this event was inspired by the Pantone Color of the Year, Greenery, which also happens to be her favorite color.
“When my client mentioned wanting to use golds for this dinner, I immediately suggested we pair gold with greens and other metals,” she said.
Soderquist also drew inspiration from her neighborhood, which is home to a number of avid gardeners.
“Some of the flowers are from my own garden,” she said.
Each event calls for unique décor, which means Soderquist is constantly searching through her work storage closet to find items she can repurpose.
“For this party specifically, I took super magnetic hooks used to hang chandeliers and used them to hang the copper cross bars for the hanging vases,” she said. “I also took metal trays, painted them and inverted them to hide fairy lights and elevate smaller vases.”
The end result was an idyllic garden oasis perfect for a spring dinner party.
