Finding Pinehurst

Pinehurst is situated at 80 Carolina Vista Drive in the Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina. 

Raleigh-Durham International is the most accessible airport to our resort. Airport transportation is offered starting at $50 per person one way. More detailed information on services, complimentary intra-resort shuttles and our Acura Guest Drive program is provided below.

• The Carolina Hotel's physical location is 80 Carolina Vista Drive, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
• The Holly Inn: the physical location is 155 Cherokee Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374
• The Manor Inn: the physical location is 5 Community Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374
• The Main Resort Clubhouse (Course Nos. 1-5) is located at 1 Carolina Vista Drive, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
• Condominiums: Check-in is at the Carolina Hotel (see above).

Once you're at Pinehurst, our in-house transportation team offers complimentary shuttle service within the resort property.   With a US or Canadian drivers licence, you may also enjoy use of an Acura RL, TL, MDX, RDX or the new ZDX for up to 3 hours off-property as part of our complimentary Acura Guest Drive Program. The preferred vehicle of Pinehurst, an Acura can be reserved on-site at our Resort Services desk.

• RDU - Raleigh/Durham International Airport (74 miles)

  Raleigh-Durham Airport to Pinehurst - Driving time:  1 hour 30 minutes 

  RDU to the Village of Pinehurst

  • Leaving RDU, take I-40 East and follow for approximately 8 miles
  • Exit onto U.S. Rt. 1 South to Southern Pines, NC
  • Follow U.S. Rt. 1 South for approximately 60 miles
  • Exit at Midland Road (Rt. 2) in Southern Pines, NC and make a right (the sign reads "Pinehurst/Southern Pines")
  • Proceed 4 miles to the traffic circle and enter into the left lane
  • Take the 3rd exit which is Highway 2 West

  If your final destination is the Carolina Hotel:

  • Proceed on Highway 2 West for 1.4 miles to small traffic circle
  • Take first exit onto Carolina Vista
  • Carolina hotel is straight ahead

  If your final destination is the Holly Inn:

  • Proceed on Highway 2 West for 1/2 mile and turn right onto Fields Road
  • Take immediate left onto Cherokee Road
  • The Holly Inn is located approximately 3 blocks ahead on the right

  If your final destination is the Manor Inn:

  • Proceed on Highway 2 West for 1.4 miles to small traffic circle
  • Take first exit onto Carolina Vista
  • As you approach the entrance to the Carolina, turn right onto Ritter Road and travel one block to stop sign
  • Turn right onto Chinquapin Road
  • Take the next left onto Magnolia Road
  • Stay on Magnolia until the third right and veer off onto Community Road
  • The Manor Inn is on the left
• GSO - Piedmont Triad International Airport (87 miles)

  Greensboro Piedmont Triad Airport to Pinehurst - Driving time:  1 hour 40 minutes 

  GSO to the Village of Pinehurst

  • Leaving the airport turn left onto Airport Parkway
  • At the second stop light, turn left onto Hwy 68 South
  • Follow Hwy 68 South for 1.7 miles and exit onto I-40 East
  • Follow I-40 east for 9 miles and exit onto Hwy 220 South
  • Follow Hwy 220 South for 51 miles to Candor and exit onto Hwy 211 East
  • Follow Hwy 211 east for 17 miles and turn right onto Hwy 5 South
  • Follow Hwy 5 South for 1 mile to the traffic light Rt. 2 West and turn left

  If your final destination is the Carolina Hotel:

  • On Rt. 2 West follow to small traffic circle and take 3rd exit onto Carolina Vista
  • Carolina hotel is straight ahead

  If your final destination is the Holly Inn:

  • Proceed on Rt. 2 West to small traffic circle and take 2nd exit, remaining on Rt. 2 West
  • Follow to and turn left onto Village Green East (This is the road in front of the Village Chapel)
  • Turn left at the stop sign onto Cherokee Road
  • The Holly Inn is immediately on your right

  If your final destination is the Manor Inn:

  • On Rt. 2 West follow to small traffic circle and take 3rd exit onto Carolina Vista
  • As you approach the entrance to the Carolina, turn right onto Ritter Road and travel one block to stop sign
  • Turn right onto Chinquapin Road

  • Exit the airport onto Billy Graham Parkway
  • Turn right onto I-85 North and follow to exit 42, Hwy 49 North
  • Follow Hwy 49 North 20 miles to Mt. Pleasant, NC
  • Exit onto Hwy 73 East and follow for 16 miles
  • Turn left onto Hwy 24/27 east to Biscoe, NC
  • Exit onto Hwy 220 South for 5 miles to Candor, NC
  • Exit onto Hwy 211 East to Pinehurst
  • Follow Hwy 211 East to Hwy 5 traffic light and turn right (Olmsted Village on left)
  • Follow Hwy 5 South for approximately 1 mile to Rt. 2 and turn left

  If your final destination is the Carolina Hotel:

  • On Rt. 2 West follow to small traffic circle and take 3rd exit onto Carolina Vista
  • Carolina hotel is straight ahead

  If your final destination is the Holly Inn:

  • Exit onto US 401 South and follow to the town of Raeford
  • Turn right onto Hwy 211 West following for 14 miles
  • turn right at the stop sign onto Hwy 15-501 North and merge onto U.S. Rt. 1 North
  • Move into the left lane and turn left at the first traffic light onto Hwy 5 North
  • Follow Hwy 5 North for 6 miles to the traffic light at Rt. 2 (after going under a railroad overpass)
  • Turn right on to Rt. 2 and proceed to small traffic circle

  If your final destination is the Carolina Hotel:

  • Once at the small traffic circle, take 3rd exit onto Carolina Vista
  • Carolina hotel is straight ahead

  If your final destination is the Holly Inn:

  • Proceed on Highway 2 West for 1/2 mile and turn right onto Fields Road

  • When you enter the circle, take the 3rd exit onto Rt. 2 West
  • Travel on Rt. 2 West for 1.4 miles where you will enter a small traffic circle
  • Take first exit onto Carolina Vista
  • Carolina hotel is straight ahead
• South Carolina, taking I-95 North

  • Follow I-95 North into North Carolina
  • Follow I-95 North to exit 31 St. Pauls/Pinehurst
  • Take NC 20 West to Raeford, NC
  • Turn left on Central Avenue and follow to Main street, turn right
  • Follow 5 blocks turn left on Prospect Avenue which becomes NC 211 West
  • Stay on NC 211 West to Aberdeen for 19 miles
  • In Aberdeen take a right onto US Hwy 1 and NC 15-501 North
  • Turn left following NC 15-501 from US Hwy 1
  • Follow NC 15-501 North to the traffic circle

  From the large traffic circle -
  If your final destination is the Carolina Hotel:

  • Take Hwy 2 West to Pinehurst from the large traffic circle
  • Follow Hwy 2 West for 1.3 miles to the smaller traffic circle
  • Take first right off traffic circle on to Carolina Vista Drive
  • The Carolina Hotel will be directly in front of you

  If your final destination is the Holly Inn:

  • Take Hwy 2 West to Pinehurst from the large traffic circle
  • Follow Hwy 2 West for 3/4 miles to Fields Road
  • Turn right on Fields Road
  • Take the immediate next left turn on Cherokee Road
  • Continue for 1/4 mile to 155 Cherokee Road
  • The Holly Inn will be on your right

  If you final destination is the Manor Inn:

  • Take Hwy 2 West to Pinehurst from the large traffic circle
  • Follow Hwy 2 West for 3/4 mile and turn right onto Fields Road
  • Continue until the next stop sign at Dundee Road. (Car Dealer)
  • Turn left on Dundee Road and go two blocks and turn right on Community Road
  • Follow Community Road to the Manor Inn on the right, before the next Stop sign
• Virginia, taking I-95 South

  • Follow Interstate 95 South to Rocky Mount NC and exit onto NC 64 West (Do NOT take US 64 outside of Richmond)
  • Take Hwy. 64 West to Raleigh and exit onto Interstate 440 / Hwy. 64
  • Follow I-440 / Hwy. 64 and exit onto U.S. Rt. 1 South
  • Take U.S. No. 1 South to Midland Road (Hwy 2 West) in Southern Pines
  • Turn right onto Midland Road and follow to traffic circle
  • When you enter the circle, take the 3rd exit onto Rt. 2 West
  • Travel on Rt. 2 West for 1.4 miles where you will enter a small traffic circle
  • Take first exit onto Carolina Vista

  • Follow Interstate 40 East to Greensboro
  • When you arrive in Greensboro, exit onto Hwy. 220 South
  • Exit onto Hwy 220 South and follow to Hwy 211 East in Candor

  • Follow Hwy 211 East to Hwy 5 traffic light and turn right (Olmsted Village on left)
  • Follow Hwy 5 South for approximately 1 mile to Rt. 2 and turn left
  • Follow to small traffic circle and take 3rd exit onto Carolina Vista

• Columbia SC, taking I-77

  • Take Interstate 77 North to Hwy 74 East
  • Continue on 74 East through Charlotte
  • Hwy 74 will take you into a town called Rockingham
  • In Rockingham take US Rt. 1 North
  • Continue on US Rt. 1 North to Hwy 15 / 501 (Aberdeen)
  • Follow Hwy 15 / 501 North to the traffic circle in Pinehurst
  • When you enter the circle, take the 4th exit onto Rt. 2 West
  • Travel on Rt. 2 West for 1.4 miles where you will enter a small traffic circle
  • Take first exit onto Carolina Vista
  • Carolina hotel is straight ahead
