The Cradle of American Golf

Pinehurst Resort & Country Club, established in 1895, currently employs over 1,300 people. The 2,000-acre property features four historic hotels, nine championship golf courses, the Cradle short course and Thistle Dhu putting course, and more than 80,000 square feet of meeting space. The resort also includes an award-winning spa, multiple restaurants and bars, tennis and lawn sports facility, pool facilities, a 200-acre lake and much more. Pinehurst has hosted more single golf championships than any other site in America and in 2020, was named a U.S. Open Anchor Site, with championships scheduled in 2024, 2029, 2035, 2041, and 2047.
