RESORT ACTIVITIES
- Acura Hospitality Car Program
Take an RL, TL, MDX or RDX for up to three hours to see the area. (9am-6pm) Guest must have a valid US/CN driver license. - Afternoon Tea
Join us for a social hour of tea and cookies every day at 4 pm in the Carolina Hotel lobby. - Bicycles
Pinehurst guests can access a riding bike at the front of the Carolina hotel. - Board Games

The Pinehurst Beach Club rents boats on the 200-acre Lake Pinehurst, as well as bait and tackle. - Carriage Rides

Offered Memorial Day to Labor Day and most holidays, the program offers two options for families to play together: Option 1 includes a family clinic and golf on No. 8 after 5 pm; Option 2 offers golf only after 5 pm for up to a family of four. Requires 48-hours advance reservations. Rental Clubs available on this program at no additional charge. - Family Fun on Fridays
Every Friday in the summer, Pinehurst offers family activities at 7:30 pm. Sign up in advance at the Resort Services Desk for such activities as Flag Football, Beach Blanket Bingo, GPS Scavenger Hunts, and S'mores parties. - Fishing
Lake Pinehurst is a 200-acre freshwater lake stocked with carp, bass and catfish. Bait, tackle and fishing boat rentals are available at the Pinehurst Beach Club. Open May - September. - Fitness Center
Offering treadmills, free weights, and other equipment, the Pinehurst Fitness Center is available to all resort guests free of charge and is located at the Spa at Pinehurst. Opening/Closing times vary by season. - Historic Walking Tours
Offered each Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10 am in the summer months, this one-hour walking tour takes you through the historic district of the Village of Pinehurst. Wear comfortable shoes. - Kayaking
Kayaks can be rented at the Pinehurst Beach Club/Lake Pinehurst by the hour. Open seasonally May through September. - KidsClub
The Pinehurst KidsClub is open Monday-Saturday in the summer months and select family holiday weekends, offering supervised activities for children ages 3-12. Must be potty trained. Half-day and full-day programs available. See Oakley Teen Adventure for weekend activities for ages 13-17. - Lawn Bowls
Take a lesson or play a game with our Pinehurst Lawn Bowling Club. Equipment is available. - Oakley's Teen Adventure Program
Available for teens ages 13-17 and activities include kayaking, geocaching, scavenger hunts, and more. Requires advance reservations. - Playground

A wealth of independent shops within 15 minutes of the resort abound; nearby Cameron Antiques features over 20 shops in a quaint town atmosphere. - Equestrian
Located 20 minutes from the resort, McLendon Hills requires advance reservations for trail rides and pony rideas seasonally, based on availability. Call (910) 673-4951 for rates and information. - Greenways/Walking/Jogging Trails
Both Pinehurst and Southern Pines have extensive Greenway systems for walking, jogging or biking. Start at the Manor Inn in Pinehurst and view native plants; Southern Pines offers a walk around the picturesque Southern Pines Reservoir. Ask resort services for other popular walking and jogging routes and maps. - Hiking in Nature Preserve
The Weymouth Center is located about 15 minutes from Pinehurst and includes native bird and wildlife habitats as well as native herbs and plants. - Horticultural Gardens
Take a walk through the Sandhills Horticultural Gardens, located at Sandhills Community College in Southern Pines. Seasonal floral displays, herb gardens, English pathways and Japanese Hollies are among the many sections of this expansive walking garden. Open seasonally. - Movies
