Carolina Dining Room Closes (5/6/2026)

As Pinehurst Resort continues to enhance the guest experience, we would like to let you know that the Carolina Dining Room will close on May 6 to begin a full renovation. We look forward to welcoming you back to a beautifully refreshed space when it reopens in late December.

During this time, hotel guests may enjoy breakfast in the nearby Cardinal Ballroom. We will also be expanding breakfast offerings throughout the Resort. Guests are invited to enjoy Southern-style breakfast buffets at the Deuce in the main clubhouse and at PL8TE at Pinehurst No. 8. Enhanced breakfast options will also be available at Station 21 for those playing Pinehurst No. 10 at Pinehurst Sandmines. If you are scheduled to play Courses 1–5, No. 8 or No. 10, we would be delighted for you to take advantage of these convenient dining options. Breakfast service at The Holly Inn will continue as usual.

While the Carolina Dining Room is being reimagined, 1895 Grille at The Holly will serve dinner seven days a week. We’re also excited to share that our newest restaurant, Wiregrass, will open for dinner in the main clubhouse beginning April 29. Wiregrass is a warm and inviting farm-to-table experience celebrating locally and regionally sourced ingredients from Pinehurst’s neighboring communities.

We look forward to sharing more details about the renewed Carolina Dining Room in the months ahead and thank you for your understanding as we continue to elevate your Pinehurst experience.

Spa Closure (June 2026 to October 2026)

The Spa at Pinehurst is undergoing renovations to create a refreshed and tranquil new experience for guests. As part of this transformation, the spa will be closed from June 15, 2026 through October 2026.

Guests will still be able to enjoy a selection of treatments and services during this time. Appointments will be offered in the newly renovated East Wing of The Carolina Hotel, where guest rooms will be thoughtfully adapted into a peaceful and rejuvenating setting.

Pinehurst No. 11

Work on Pinehurst No. 11 continues in 2026, with insight from Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw on the vision behind the course.

The Lodge and Cabin at Pinehurst Sandmines

While Coore & Crenshaw and their team continue to bring Pinehurst No. 11 to life, an exciting new chapter is also beginning to take shape beyond the fairways at Pinehurst Sandmines.

Pinehurst has officially broken ground on new accommodations designed to complement the experience at Sandmines, including a 26-room Lodge and an expansive 8-bedroom Cabin. Surrounded by the rolling landscape and towering longleaf pines of the Sandhills, the rustic and refined accommodations will offer guests a setting rooted in comfort, connection and the spirit of Pinehurst. The Cabin is expected to open in Summer 2027, with the Lodge to follow in Fall 2027.

The additions will also feature a lit putting green, inviting fire pits and large outdoor gathering spaces designed for evenings spent among friends. A new clubhouse serving Pinehurst No. 11 is also scheduled to debut in 2027.

“Pinehurst Sandmines continues to redefine what guests can expect from world class golf and unforgettable experiences,” says Tom Pashley, President of Pinehurst Resort. “We’re excited to continue building upon the incredible foundation already established with Pinehurst No. 10 and Station 21. The additions of No. 11, the new Lodge, Cabin and expanded amenities will mark the next steps in creating one of the most distinctive and memorable retreats in all of golf.”
