I would like to recognize the following people Madeline Eckert- Madeline was fantastic helping us plan our event on June 27th. She was so helpful and responsive when I emailed her with my questions. Tiffany- always attentive and helpful ! Jamie – chef – his #9 kitchen crew put a delicious spread together. All our guests commented on how good the food was at our event. Hannah – captain , her wait staff was friendly and attentive . Emma was our bartender and she did a wonderful job . The cake was delicious !!! The flowers were gorgeous!!!! Overall it was a wonderful event for our family!!

WOW! Thank you for everything. We are all truly in awe of the entire weekend. It absolutely felt like a “U.S. Open Experience!” From arriving Thursday to enjoy Drum & Quill to the Luncheon, Rehearsal Dinner & Welcome Party, to the most wonderful wedding day imaginable – you made all of it possible! Her responsiveness whenever we reached out or emailed with questions was amazing. In planning meetings she was efficient and helpful in working through decisions. The day of the event she was very visible, on site and helpful to the bride and our family. Ben Bridgers went above and beyond to make sure this wedding was everything we dreamed it would be. He was helpful and available throughout our planning process and filled us with confidence and delivered on excellence. “Madeline Eckert was extremely helpful and attentive to all details, patient with our questions and went out of her way to assist us in making appropriate venue selections and in guiding us through the process. The wait staff also were also very attentive to our head table to ensure that all immediate family host members received full service drinks and assistance as we tried to be attentive to our guests and thus often could not get our own drinks etc.”

Every time we stepped onto the grass at Pinehurst, it felt like the air was a little crisper and we were transported to another world. There is something so special about the ambiance and timelessness of the property. I also loved that Pinehurst is such a tried-and-true staple of golf history and a place we can continue to visit and enjoy through every season of our lives as we grow together.As a sentimental person who loves being able to relive special memories, I worried that choosing a wedding-only venue might mean our wedding memories would feel tied to a single moment in time. Pinehurst was the opposite of that. We know we can come back year after year, create new memories, and still feel connected to the place where we began this chapter together. Another aspect that truly set Pinehurst apart for us was how easy it was for our guests. Having the in-house catering, bar, bakery, and onsite accommodations made the entire experience incredibly convenient and seamless. From start to finish, the entire event team went above and beyond to make everything feel effortless and, in my personal opinion, make it the best day ever!

Our favorite parts of the day were our private first look in the courtyard, surrounded by beautiful greenery and flowers, and our private last dance. Pinehurst and the staff did an incredible job of protecting those intimate moments for us as a couple, especially as the day was moving so quickly and guests were naturally wandering throughout the property. The staff were so attentive and thoughtful, making sure we had the privacy we needed while kindly directing guests to the appropriate locations. Looking back, those quiet moments together were some of the most special memories of our entire wedding day. They were moments we’ll always cherish, and they only happened because of the staff’s incredible attention to detail and genuine care for us throughout the day. Also, the food and drinks were AMAZING! I’d say one of the best additions was the passed late-night snack, which we were able to incorporate our fur baby into and make extra special. I also really appreciated the staff making sure we had hors d’oeuvres and a drink waiting for us after the ceremony, giving us the opportunity to have a private moment together before joining cocktail hour. Those little moments meant so much to me. We were able to pause, soak everything in, and truly enjoy our wedding and all of the special details we had put so much thought and effort into planning before stepping back out to celebrate with our guests. It made the entire day feel even more personal, intentional, and special.

“Madeline Eckert was in charge of our luncheon from beginning to end. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. She communicated clearly what the resort could offer, and you are truly lucky to have her on your team. She combines professionalism with a friendly and personable demeanor. Madeline is a fantastic representative for Pinehurst Resort. I would also like to commend Kennedy Peake who assisted with this event while Madeline was on maternity leave. Kennedy is extremely knowledgeable and helped me make the best decisions for our menu. She also suggested the charcuterie display which was a huge hit with our group! Elizabeth Dunn did a phenomenal job with the decorations and the hostess that worked with her was impressed with her knowledge and skills. On the day of our event Leslie was our team captain and she was wonderful. She was kind and efficient and made everything flow perfectly. Angelina our bartender was a hit with all of our guests! Her personality is vivacious and charming. She is a wonderful representative of your staff’s training and commitment to excellent customer service. There was a young man whose name I cannot remember who was part of the wait staff on our team and although he was quite he was professional and attentive. He worked well with Leslie to bring out our food and helped us in our last minute set up of a gift table. Overall the team we worked with was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone hosting an event at your resort. Additionally a gentleman who appeared to be a chef took a picture for us in the main dining room adjacent to the Crystal Room where we had our luncheon. I believe his name was Codi and he just happened to be walking by when we asked him to take the picture. He was friendly and funny and he’s a great amateur photographer!”

“Thank you so much to the staff at Pinehurst Resort who made this bridal luncheon a success! I do not know your Pastry Chef’s name but he or she did a fantastic job on the mini king cakes he or she designed! As someone who has eaten many king cakes in my life I wanted to say that the ones that were made for us were some of the best I have had! And they made our event even more special as we were able to bring a piece of home to the event. The attendees that were from your area had never been to your resort before and they loved your facility. The groom’s mother told one of the hostesses that the wedding would be beautiful, but that the luncheon would be the wedding event she would remember every detail of for years to come. She said from the venue to the staff to the food she had never been to a more perfect luncheon in her life. By the way she also said the chicken dish was the best she has ever had! So please know that your team absolutely created a perfect even t for our group and we will all be talking about our bridal luncheon at Pinehurst for years to come! “Our event was perfection. There is not one change or addition I could possibly think of. I can’t thank Madeline and her entire team enough. The responsiveness and attention to detail was above and beyond.

Madeline is the most responsive, professional and caring individual that I have ever worked with to plan an event. For 15 months, she responded to my questions immediately-and there were a lot of questions I was asking – almost daily. This is unheard of in this industry of events planning. You have an absolute treasure in Madeline working for you. When April 4, 2025 finally arrived, I popped in to see your staff busy at work setting up the ballrooms, and as I watched this gentleman work closely setting up the tables, getting the tablecloths just right along with the place service, I knew Madeline wasn’t the only one dedicated to her craft. And that’s what it is really – a true dedication to not only a job, but a prideful skill that has a major impact. When I arrived that evening, Madeline was there to greet me and stayed and checked on me numerous times during dinner. It is with heartfelt gratitude that we thank Madeline and the entire staff for making our son’s Rehearsal Dinner and Welcome Party a magical evening!

“The Catering Manager came to the event (day of) to ensure I was satisfied with everything. I don’t remember the chef’s name but how he served 180 filets all at perfect temperature was amazing. You guys have an excellent group of support vendors and work seamlessly with them to execute the event.”
