Culinary Walking Tour

The tour begins overlooking the 18th green of famed Pinehurst No. 2 at The Deuce, Pinehurst Resort’s newest pub, which is known for its outstanding pastrami slider. Two stops await at the Holly Inn, first to the Tavern for hand-cut and homemade potato chips and a chicken tempura wrap. Then, venture downstairs to the elegant 1895 Grille for classic shrimp and grits. Finally, cap off the festive tour by satisfying your sweet tooth with the Mile High Key Lime Pie at The Carolina Hotel. At each location guests will be served these specialty small plates accompanied by a craft beer sampling. In addition to the fine food, your culinary experience will be enhanced with a stop at The Village Wine Shop, a boutique destination located in the heart of the Village. As you visit each stop your guide will share many interesting facts and stories about the history of Pinehurst, the Tufts family, Donald Ross, and the many fascinating people who have visited and lived here.
